A Little Snow.

Just saying hello and sharing some photos I think you might find of interest.
After last weeks ice storm, this week we were treated to a "Nor' easter".
Grab your shovel!
Where'd she go?
Clearing the exhaust.
Thule Snow chains.
The chains worked great. The only downside is the vibration and noise they generate and the fact you can't exceed 40 mph with them on. I didn't exceed 35 with them on. I also didn't ride on any cleared pavement, all snow covered.
Traveling down the road.
Bye.

I like your pics by the way, its not something you see here! Lol!
So what about the car, tell us about it! What kind of engine is under the hood, how old is it...
We just love specs!

Ever drove to Boston (or even NY) with this car? That could give some nice pictures as well Too bad that we can't see the whole car on these pictures, but the surroundings are beautiful. Looks like Sweden.

I've been having some carb problems that seemed to start/get worse with the extreme cold. -5F tonight. She drives alright, but will not idle and stalls.
Anyone have a spare snowcap for sale?
At the dock in Southampton, UK
Loaded on the tow dolly at Port Newark, New Jersey for the ride home.
At home in Maine.
I do get plenty of stares. :yummie:
I would like to buy another, the next one a vario with left hand drive.
Bye for now!

Where did the rearspoiler go?!
Very unique to have one over there. They never got to Amerika. Don't know why, think they weren't interested in such a small car. (Australia even has 360's...That's Quite a long trip from the netherlands!)

she won't runn idle,
i read 343dl '82. under the bonnet, look at the leftside of the engine, just above the oil-filter. the engine code is probably a B14.2?
in that case you have a weber carb. remove the large pancake shaped air filter housing by clipping of its cover and unscrewing it on the inside (3 bolts) beware the thick hose (aprox 50mm in diam.) and the thinner hose (linked to the valve cover) when taking off the air filter housing.
now you look at the carb, turn the ignition on but don't start the engine. pull off the red/blue wire at the valvecover side of the carb and try tapping it on the connector it came of, when it's ok you hear a clicking noise of the idle jet, if not that will be the reason why it won't run stationary.
now that the air filter housing is off, check some other things, the carburator lid is held in place by 5 screws, these tend to get loose, tighten them with care, it's only m5 thread into aluminium.. at the base of the carb there are 4 nuts, check if these are firmly tight aswell.
next, manually give throttle (repeating full throttle, no trottle, full throttle etc..) and see if any fuell leaks out of the carb, also check if the 1'st and 2nd accelerator valve on the inside of the carb open, and ofcourse if there's a nice jet of fuell sprayed into the carb side next to the valve cover.
next turn your eyes to the ignition, loosen the distributor cap with the 2 bolts and check the contacts on the inside of the distributor cap, also check the rotor to see if there aren't many burning marks that coult mess up the ignition, you can check the sparkplugs and sparkwires aswell.
my technical english isn't 100% so don't laugh too loud when you read this please, you'll emberasse me:woops:

You must have had a lot of pleasure in that snow with the car, isn't it?
Do you have some pictures from the inside? I'm very curious
