And these people must have had it for a long time, because you see the children grow up alongside 'their' car.

It’s a pity that we where not be able to join the funeral and not be able to declare our sympathy. However could not we do something at all? I mean at least we could open a condolence register or organize a beneficiary collection or something like that? I might have a wheel cover somewhere.
It’s not evident that someone of the family has been harmed. Fortunately for them. 
By the way, I know this suffer too. I had to say good bye to this beautiful car because my physical wellbeing was insufficient to drive this car. Fortunately I have fantastic reminds of my “Morgan” to be thinking of.
