Adjustable dampers

hello Dai, i must give my compliments to the classic swede print on the shocks, looks very good!

the price for new adjustable dampers seems fair, i currently run koni red on the front and koni yellow on the rear. stiffens it up a lot but i wonder if we can compare your shocks to the koni's or original replacement shocks (sachs for example) to see if the same (or better) result is reached.

a list like:
5 clicks is original
10 clicks is original - sport
30 clicks is max setting of koni red
40 clicks is max setting koni yellow

i am interested to see something like that, makes the choice off shocks for another car way easier.

it is not easy to make a comparrison but I'll give you an aprox idea.

set on 3 or 4 clicks I would say it is about the same a basic sachs replacemnt.
I don't know what the ratings for the sprot dampers are but I would say about 7 - 8 clicks are the same as good gas replement dampers.

Comparison to KONI again I dont know exactly what the valving is like for the 300 series but they tend to keep roughly the same valving for other cars of similar weight.

So with that in mind I would say 20 - 25 clicks as stiff as Koni red
30 - 35 clicks as stiff as koni yellow on highest setting.

40 clicks as close to haveing a solid bolt in place of your dampers as you could imagine! On highest setting it is almost completly impossible to move the dampers by hand unless you are very very strong.

They will adjust from a soft tame ride comfort to filling shaking hard!

Is the bound and rebound adjustable or only (like the red koni's) the rebound?

The bump and the rebound are adjustble. The 1 adjuster controls both.
