Volvo meeting in the Kingdom of Crystal (Glasriket)

Hello Volvo friends

On our first VOMAC meeting in Lule¥ I had the idea of a Volvo meeting in the kingdom of Crystal (Glasriket).

And now, Heiko Müller and me, have started to organize another international Volvo meeting in Sweden that will be a complement to VOMAC, the VOLVO OWNERS AND ENTHUSIASTS MEETING in the KINGDOM OF CRYSTAL

Some first information:
Place: the Kingdom of Crystal in south Sweden, between Kosta and Orrefors
Date: 11th 13th August 2006
A pleasant trip with veteran Volvo cars to different glassworks, including a visit on one production
A visit in an elk park near Kosta
A Hyttsill (special dinner on a glasswork)
BBQ

This meeting will be organized in corporation between VOMAC and Glasriket Event AB, plus help of the local heritage car club, the Kalmar land Fordonshistoriker.

As soon as the program will be ready we will present it on our homepage www.vomac.org and on www.glasriket.se and additionally we will inform you by e-mail.

Jaaa! Daar hadden ze het al over tijdens de VOMAC afgelopen februari. Lijkt me wel weer de moeite waard, maar het wordt voor mij wel erg krap in verband met mijn eigen geplande vakantie. Ik denk dat ik toch moet passen, helaas.

edit: die vakantie gaat misschien wel met een tijdelijke afgelegd worden.

Dit is dus in plaats van het bekende VROM? Zo ja, dan blijft de Focus thuis en gaat de mee

Steven, niet in plaats van maar naast... VROM gaat in mei naar alle waarschijnlijkheid plaatsvinden, icm een andere "oud roest"-evenement.

In mei?! Dat is dan lekker gepland, zal een magere opkomst worden van de NL-equipe vrees ik...
Ik ga wel naar die andere in augustus, dan ben ik er toch. Wie weet kom ik nog bekenden tegen

Finally the information about this years VROM! As you might heard we have moved the meeting forwards to the Tjol¶holm Claasic Motor on

Sunday, 21 may, at Tjol¶holm Castle, in Kungsbacka, south of Gothenburg.

Yep, heb het gezien.
Lekkere timing zo voor de zomer..... Ik denk niet dat er veel buitenalnders zullen komen, voor de meesten is het toch vaak een combi met de zomervakantie. Ik ga i.i.g. in augustus lekker naar Zweden
